I too have been lusting after Fulton Armory's FN Police Special Rifle but haven't gotten my mitts on one yet-looks like they are hard to get and the price is going up
 www.fulton-armory.com/ FN Special Police Rifle FN is replacing the current version of the SPR with a new model as of 1 March 2002. FN introduced the new SPR at the SHOT Show. When we have more details on the new model, we'll get them to you as soon as we can. FN has told us that the new model will have a McMillan stock; it will retain the Win 70 Classic action and M240 barrel that have given such nearly-incredible accuracy. Unfortunately, we're informed that the MSRP will go up substantially. Very substantially. Meanwhile, we're working with FN to get sufficient rifles to fill our current orders. Consequently, we're suspending orders for the current SPR until we have details on the new model. ************************************************ Remember to calculate the cost of a good scope into the equation too! |

Got one and love it. Rifle with an extra mag under $900.00. mounted a leupold 3x9 tactical because thats what i had in my safe as an extra. shoots .5 moa with 175 and 168 fed match. 200 yards only because thats what i have had time to do. easily adjustable trigger. i did buy hex head mt screws from brownells and swapped them out. buy win screws and you only need two of the three. need to trim length. Did not need them but i do like them for torqueing. Great rifle, good price and at the time available.

Damn, Mr. kali, I'd love to give you a range report but the temp today is in the 40s and the wind is blowing at about 25 mph. I hope it calms down a little tomorrow so I can take out my new toy and yank the trigger a couple of times.

Anyone know where I can lay my hands on one? I'm in the market for a bolt .308, and have been lusting after a FN SPR for a while now-chrome-lined accuracy, now who would have thought that was possible?

This guy got me mine. I had my rifle exactly a week after dropping the FFL and the funds in the mail. Great guy to deal with.
