Has anyone ever tried using a brass catcher on any of their weapons? I've seen a few (bag type&hardtype} in shotgun news or somewhere.
I was wondering how good they worked. Did they cause jams or anything?  Just curios.

We have them at work for our AR's. They cover the ejection port and are held in place by a detent ball that locks into the hole in the carrying handle. As far as catching brass..they work great. For use while instructing shooters, they are a curse. You have to remove them to clear the weapon and clear a jam. This causes to much muzzle movement IMHO. I don't use them for that reason. Besides..picking up brass is part of shooting.

I use one on my AR when target shooting. Never had a problem.
