No, USA mags are crap. Stick with the 10-round fixed magazine that came with the weapon and just buy a crapload of stripper clips.

Yes, SKS rifles are fun, ammo is cheap. I have not had any problems with my USA mags myself. The other option is to get a SKS model D. which uses the AK mags.

My SKS is a fun gun. I tricked it out with a sniper stock, brass deflector, scope mounts and a cheapo Leapers 3-9x40.
