I want to find a cheap A-1 upper to use when I go into those rapid fireing spells, so I don't wear out my A-2 H-BAR? Also does you have to have go through an FFL to order an upper? TIA

Have you searched the Equipment form here? No there is no need for a FFL dealer to order an upper.

I've got a used, preban, 20" A1 complete upper that's in excellent shape and is accurate.  I'd be willing to let go of it for $350. shipped.  Send me a line if interested.  I'm not sure of the make as it has no markings but I received it on a preban Bushy lower.
