I'm looking at mags in Shotgun news and they have AR mags. Some are listed as G.I. new 223 and the they have G.I. Demo 223. Whats Demo stand for ? I'm sure I will kick myself in the rear when I get an answer. I just dont know!!!!!!!!

"Demo" is CDNN's way of saying "used."  Usually it indicates light wear, and 90% or so condition.

The 20rnd "G.I. Demo" mags I received from CDNN were 3-Adventureline and 1-Center Ind. They were all REFINISHED with some spray type (Teflon or moly maybe?)coating w/ alloy followers and what looked like new springs. They work great in my rifle so I am still happy at $20.00/mag. but I think these would be better classified as "used, G.I., refinished" rather than "Demo"
