Cost is roughly the same given the alternatives from GTG mfrs, AFAIK.  Since my BUIS is mounted in the most rearward rail position, and I wear eyeglasses, I'm favoring those mounts that allow for a somewhat rearward mounting of the ACOG.  I have an adjustable stock--7 position.  Looking to mount a TA11-F ACOG:https://www.trijicon.com/na_en/products/product3d.php?pid=TA11F    ETA: QD capability is a must, because my BUIS will be the MATECH rear BUIS:http://www.ebay.com/itm/Matech-Back-Up-Iron-Sight-Sight-Picatinny-Black-Ranging-Aperture-BUIS-/351462689211?hash=item51d4cf09bb

Larue has a couple:

ARMS has a bunch:

http://www.armsmounts.com/default.asp?mode=products&sub=mounts&id=%5Bhsh%5D19LD%20ACOG

GG&G has some, too:

Of course, Trijicon has one:

https://www.trijicon.com/na_en/products/product3.php?pid=AC12033

Any other rock-solid mounts I should be considering?  Your hands-on experiences, especially first-hand comparisons of various makes/models will be most appreciated

ETA: some more:

ETA 2:  with my buis, GDI looks like the ideal mount:http://www.gdiengineering.com/store/products/r-com-b-model.html

Sounds like we have similar set ups. I have 2 set up on the Larue T100s, mainly because I move them occasionally will move them from rifle to rifle.  I just purchased/stole my 3rd TA11 on Amazon and will keep the stock mount as it will be a permanent application.
If you aren't going to move them or have no real reason to spend the extra scratch then the TA51 is fine.
My exp with the Larue's is fantastic and am pleased with the ease of the levers.

I will also add if using the TA51 to use a bit of blue Locktite as they may loosen.

Larue makes good stuff, by all accounts.  If they had answered my e-mail to them, sent about a week ago, asking for dimensions on one of their scope mounts, I might have a bit more confidence in their CS than I have at present.  Not a disqualifier, but something to consider..........

Unlike some, I am NOT married to any one mfr, and so the search is wide open.

ADM and Bobro offer high quality ACOG mounts as well.

Bobro

They have a tall and low mount for acogs

GDI is my personal favorite but its hard to go wrong with a LaRue mount as well.

I have both GDI and Larue. Both are very fine mounts. However the GDI sits further back when mounted next to my rear sight for better eye relief needed on the Acog.

That looks like just the ticket.  Much obliged!

The LaRue links are not going where you intended on the LaRue site.

It's OK, I think I have found what I need.  Thanks.

That QDI mount looks unnecessarily high,

That will surely result in a chin weld and the additional height above the bore will probably affect the reticle ranging.

I use the factory TA51 mount and it clears a MATECH just fine. A standard LaRue will do the same thing and still put the ocular at the rear of the upper.

YMMV,

Fine choice, excellent mounts that are not widely known so you don't hear about them often.

Normally go with Larue but recently had to get an ADM because the recoil lugs on LT mounts fit between the cut outs on Tavor top rails

The GDI mounts are absurdly robust and are alleged to have ridiculously amazing RTZ capabilities. Also, Bobro is ridiculously simple, and also has near perfect RTZ capabilities. I have both, both are flawless. The others will serve you well, and I doubt you know much of a difference, but after multiple samples and years of use of all the above, the GDI and Bobro are who I turn to for mounts.

Fellas, I have an American Defense mount on my ACOG 4x32 and would like something that sits higher with the same style of locking mechanism. Any ideas?
