Any opinions about barrel harmonics devices? like BOSS.

I put one on HK91, didn't seem to make any difference.

I added an adjustable tuner on my STC 10/22... with a stiff, fluted, .930" barrel and using high velocity .22lr the group size reduction was amazing with incremental change to the position of the tuner...10 shots in under 1in at 100yd... you can watch the group size tighten and loosen with small change in the tuner position...it allows you to tune the barrel to the ammunition rather than vise versa.....I know the process works, but have not used it on a high velocity centerfire...I clock my ARs to direct muzzle gases to help with muzzle flip.. shooting a symmetrical comp like a boss with equal spaced ports, or a closed comp like a LeVang would be worth looking at once you have a load developed

simple slit and cross bolt,1 1/4" round aluminum stock on my STC 10/22

You likely won't notice an improvement unless your shooting an already accurate rifle with a free floated barrel.   But yes they do work. My first was a browning boss that I bought in the 90s   22-250 and I was pleasantly surprised that I could tune very fast loads.    All 22 rimfire benchrest shooters use them. At the nationals with over 100 shooters,  all have one on their rifle.  Most are Harrell tuners that have a ball detent and each click moves the 8OZweight head one thousands in or out, 25 per revolution .
