Finally got time to shoot my PTR32, but only at an indoor range that doesn't allow steel, so only shot Privi FMJ, Red Army Elite, and a box of Winchester white box.
I did experience multiple failures, mostly with the Winchester, but overall a low percentage for my first 200 rounds. Most issues were in the first 50 rounds, I was steadying the rifle on it's mag while zeroing in my optic, once I stopped so did most of my issues.

Had two fail to feeds, one was Privi and one was Red Army, both bullets were pushed back in to their cases and looks like the tip caught on the feed ramp.
Had two fail to ignite, primers looked like they got a good strike and went off second attempt.
Had a lot of extraction failures but mostly with the winchester, or during the first 50.

My Romanian surplus mags, the PMAG, and the Tapcos seemed to run best but my Hungarian 30 and Tankers ran well also.
Also tried a Korean 20, the only failure I had during the last 50 was with this mag but based on other reports this mag shouldn't have run at all so I'll try it again with some steel ammo. Ran better than I thought and locked & released fine.
Ran one Tapco 20, had to file down the side to get it to insert without forcing it but it worked.

Only shooting out to 25 yards but grouped as well as either of my ARs or my VZ. Next time I'll take it to the outdoor range where I can try some Golden Tiger & Brown Brea out to 100yds.

The delay in the roller lock system is strange, rifle fires then a split second later you feel the very slight recoil. I like this rifle a lot and hope it gets more reliable with steel.

Nice range report.

Paragraphs are you friend.

Sounds like mag problems but you shouldn't be having extraction issues.

Both of mine have been perfect. I've dumped all kinds of ammo through them (except brass) and run drums as well as mags.

Don't shoot off the mag!

lube it well and try the mags again. I wouldn't shoot winchester- IMO it sucks.

The extractor issue could be a simple weak spring in the extractor, or it might be the bolt locking leaver spring. cheap 308 parts will fix both.

I love the ptr-32s

I've never had great luck with WWB, but had some lying around and thought I'd shoot it up. This was also my first time shooting Privi & Red Army Elite as well.
I stock a ton of Yugo M67 but wasn't sure about shooting corrosive thru it just yet, want to get comfortable giving it a compete field strip first.

I came across one thread claiming these guns are set up to run steel and may choke on brass case, not sure if that's true but I can say for sure my WASR runs all steel 100% but will occasionally choke on Yugo, not sure why. I'll withhold judgement on reliability til I can give it a good strip & clean and run a chamber brush thru it.

Although I don't reload 7.62x39 I usually save all my Yugo brass out of habit, but every case was ejected hard at 1 o'clock and wound up WAY over the shooting line. Better than ricocheting off the stall wall and bouncing back at me. But a brass catcher would be a must if I was shooting brass all the time.

I picked up a surplus handguard &  mounted a picatinney rail so I can use my Harris bipod & Larue QD mount so hopefully my next range test will be off a bench to test accuracy @ 100yds. Even running 150 rounds over the course of 45 minutes (VERY slow fire IMHO) the slim handguard got HOT, much more than my VZ2008. I'll probably invest in a wide handguard later. For now I'll remember to bring gloves.

Trigger pull was heavy but broke cleanly & consistently. Seemed a little lighter than a single stage AR trigger with a Wolff xtra power spring.

i was originally planning on swiping a 32mm scope from another rifle but on an AR cantilever mount it would not clear the rear drum sight. But a 28mm compact scope just barely did clear so I'm running that.

I really like mine.  Interestingly enough I first ran mine with Privi indoors and had tons of failures.  Later I changed to Tulammo and it ran much better.  A few mags didnt work great so I just taped off the mags that ran 100%.  I put an ACOG on mine and love shooting it as the recoil is so light.  I'm up to around 500 rounds
