fake suppressor?

Other than an MP5 carbine that you are either waiting on a stamp to SBR or live in a non SBR state, why would you want one?

I'm going the sbr route, I wanted to know if they affected ballistics of the firearm

Get a used flash hider and tack weld a piece of tubing over it. That's all the faux suppressor are. They will have minimal if any POI issues

They will effect the harmonic flow of the firearm barrel and will likely change the POI to some degree, but there's no effect on ballistics.
