Awesome! My daughter grew up shooting an old Winchester .22 rifle that I have and, later, graduated into larger calibers and pistols. When she left for Nashville to work on her Master's Degree, I bought her a Glock 19 and she got her CCW.
She has since graduated and now lives and works in Nashville. She surprised the s**t out of me this summer when she came home for a visit. It ssems that she had taken her Glock out to a range to practice and ran into a young man shooting an AR. They began talking and he let her shoot a few mags through it. The next day, on her own, she went out and purchased a Stag. She brought it when she came home and we spent an enjoyable weekend shooting our ARs. We even got my wife to join in. My daughter had fired my ARs on numerous occaisions but had never shown an interest in getting her own. I wondered why she had all of the sudden bought her own and soon found out the answer when she began dating the guy from the range who let her shoot his. I met him over Christmas and he seems like a good guy...he loves guns and seems to love my daughter. |

My goal in life is to always have bigger guns and shoot better from longer distances than any of my daughter's (future) boyfriends. :) |

It would be my luck, though, for him to buy one of those 20mm rifles from Anzio Ironworks. They don't get much bigger than that. Hey, I just had a thought. If I go ahead and get a 20mm now, it would be up to Marcie's boyfriend(s) to play catch up. I've been looking for a reason to justify getting an Anzio 20mm and now I've got one. Now I just have to run it by my wife......I'm sure she will be on board, especially when I explain the logic behind my reasoning. |
