[ARCHIVED THREAD] - need help picking a red dot

So I have a couple of eotechs that are on other guns. And I have worked with a lot of different red dots but I thought I would see if anyone here has some sugestions I havent thought of.

So my budget it $200 ish. Its going to be more foreward mounted like on a scout rifle. It needs to be able to handle recoil from a 30-30. I would like it to be able to shoot 100 yards. Also something that can take a beating If I take it on a trail or out in the brush. Thanks for the sugestions..

Another vote for Strikefire or SPARC from Vortex or red dot from Primary arms. The SPARC is similar to an Aimpoint T-1 and Vortex include the mounts.

My AR has a Bushnell TRS-32. It's a solid sight, and I'd gladly buy another.
