I order the 16 Inch Complete Upper with Superbull Diamond Cut Profile on 1/1/13. I sent them a very nice email after about 9 weeks just to confirm the order had been received. They replied within a couple hours. No CC charge yet...I'm patiently waiting.

Has anyone received a call recently about their credit card? I ordered 1/08 and emailed them updated card information last month (the exp. date changed) but I didn't receive an email reply from them. In the past, they were calling people to retrieve updated information but they may no longer be doing that I guess?

I didn't even receive a confirmation email. They are either seriously busy or slacking on their correspondence. I just figured that my order was lost. It sucks not knowing. I would be persistent in emailing them.

Arrived today, 3/19/13.

Seems well made, happy with it. Price was better than I could get on PSA ($530 for 20" heavy/fluted with carry handle complete with BCG and charging handle).

Around same time I ordered a Rock River Arms 9mm upper since they were "in stock" also (many products on RRA site couldn't be added to cart, but upper could so I assumed it was "in stock"). No word yet from RRA, just e-mailed them and they replied with "can't give any idea on when it may be available". Also orderd a CMMT .22LR upper from Bronwells (listed as "in stock") around same time, no idea on when that will get manufactured/shipped.... I don't feel bad about the time and communication (lack) from Rguns.

one thing I just noticed, the heat guard moves a little bit. If I pull back on the heatshield it will move back about 1mm toward the carry handle and then spring back forward. Is this normal? I'm used to rails rather than the A2 type of foregrip/heat shield.

Was going to post obligatory pictures, but camera taking forever to sync....

Will add that under the "panic" circumstances I was happy with price/product/wait. having now read all the Rguns threads re: customer service I don't know if I'd order from them again, although I didn't have any problems...... We'll see how it shoots

Looks like its still being processed and sitting at the shop, hopefully ups picks it up soon.

It has taken 14-21 days for most people's orders to actually be picked up. I'm a little confused by their process when it comes to the shipping label being created. That would be the last thing I'd do. Your wait is almost over, either way.

Doesn't work that way in some processing software- it may be the label is automatically generated when they print out the invoice for packing, and it is just taking them a long time to work through the stacks of "packing" invoices.

Received the mid length RGQ rail on 3-20-13 so only 6 days from the shipping label being created to me having it in hand. Will post a pic of it once its mounted on my AR.

I ordered 2 complete barreled upper assemblies on 1/11 and received the email confirmation that same day.
I just sent them an email today to notify them that my expiration date had changed on my credit card.
Hopefully I will hear something back from them.
I keep checking every day to see if my card has been charged.
I feel it getting closer and closer by following this forum.

So last night I wrote Rguns a polite email inquiring if my order from 1/13 would ship soon and I got the reply 'yes'. Curt, but at least it's something, and it was more and quicker than I expected. Just wanted to share a glimmer of hope with the rest that haven't gotten their orders from 3 months ago.

I wrote them a very polite email yesterday morning explaining mt credit card changes and politely asked them if they could give me any insight on how much longer I would appreciate it. As of this evening I haven't received any replies.
My order was placed on 1/11.
I explained to them that I am patiently and anxiously waiting. Checking emails, credit card billing, and this forum numerous times a day is getting tiresome.
I will be glad when it's all over so I can order my next one and yes it will probably be from rguns.

Except that it's really nothing! The guy just says that to shut us up, I guaranteed he never looked at your order status. I had emailed about a two months ago before I realized what their habits were like and they said "SHIPPING SOON" As of today it still hasn't shipped.

I am in the same predicament. I order on 1/8. My credit card has since expired. I emailed them the new credit card information about a month ago but never received a reply or anything confirming they got it. I'm seeing order from 1/9 shipping so it's a little annoying.

So I thought I'd shed some light on what's going on. It seems they are shipping BCG and other misc. item that were ordered up to 1/10/13. Uppers are bottle necked right now. With the exception of someone's upper that was on Order on 1/9, It may take some time for people who ordered an upper on 1/8 or later. I sent several emails and finally received a response from Dawn. Here is her response:

"Hello thank you for your patience! It will still be a while before you see this order we have 20,000 orders in house and can only do so many in a day. I found your order and will keep the carry handle on the order. Dawn"

I wish I knew how long "a while" meant. But for those who ordered an upper, it may be "a while" before they start processing uppers ordered 1/8 or later.

Thanks for sharing the info. I have a feeling I'm in the same boat. As stated previously I ordered an 16" diamond cut superbull barrel on 1/1/13. I've traded a couple of emails with them but don't have a timeframe of when it will be shipped. The posts here the last couple of weeks have kept me optimistic, but now it looks like it may be a while. I guess I should have ordered it years ago...or at least 6 months ago

CC has not been charged yet.
Received a UPS shipping label this afternoon on 3/27 stating that my order will be received on 3/29.
I opened the UPS site and it states that they haven't received the package yet so I'm assuming that the 3/29 date is the date that UPS should receive the package.
It will then probably be next week sometime for me to actually receive it.
I am expecting a couple of other packages but this states "signature required" and my uppers are the only things that I would have to sign for.
I'm getting excited now but I am just missing the window for being able to assemble one of these and deliver it to my father in law this weekend.
Oh well, I guess I will have to either send it to him or make another trip down to see him.

Seems like they're shipping BCG's regularly.

I assume Rguns assembles the uppers in-house hence the big delays. I wonder how many orders they can ship a day? Even if they're doing 250 a day that's still 3 months to get through 20,000 orders. I highly doubt they're doing anywhere close to 250 a day though.

They are 24's but I believe you are right.
I think we are seeing spot shortages of parts to build the uppers that were ordered. Especially 16's.
There was a bcg shortage earlier when not much of anything was moving. (Edit: Looks like those are moving too)
That's past but it looks like there is still a shortage on NiB bcgs.
I believe I was lucky because I had asked for the plain 24" barrel (not fluted).
