Nice.  Get both is always the best option.

I have always loved the lines of the FAL.  Two years ago I bought a DSA Imbel and I absolutely love it.

very good

from what I've seen with my FAL and M1A is that the M1A is the more accurate but for some odd reason I enjoy shooting my FAL a lot more

I have all three, and the M-14 is more accurate. This will be especially true, since you have that bi-pod clamped to the barrel. I believe adding a bi pod adds 1-2 inches to the groups of any FAL, and will dramatically change the POI if you actually use it.

Clearly, you can afford to shoot more .308 than I can!
Awesome, though. Both excellent rifles. Congratulations.

I also have both and there is really no comparison as far as accuracy goes. The M1A shoots very well.

Yes this is correct. You do need this too.
