Question Gentleman,
Walmart has a 770 in 7mm, 24in. barrel for $297.00 with 3x9 scope. Is this a good rifle for the price Would like to use it for Florida hog and deer hunting. I don't need anything fancy so for the price I thought this would fit the bill. Thank u in advance for the input. |

If you gave me one, I would hunt around for someone dumb enough to buy it off me for whatever I could get. Friends dont let friends buy a model 770 rifle. They are shit.
That said if you want a good budget bolt gun, take a look at the savage Axis. Also have heard good things about the marlin bolt guns and they are in the same price range. Also, they are fairly new but the ruger budget rifle looks nice, I thinks its called the All American or something like that? |
