My DPMS LR-260 (.260 remington) Barrel just came in this week from Krieger.  Unfortunately it's at home with the family and I'm stationed on the other end of the country, but I'm still pretty stoked to finally have it and figured I would share.  This is the first time I've ordered any special or "custom" anything for a gun.

26" + JP recoil eliminator, .936" gas block, .825" at the muzzle (I think), stainless.  I didn't realize they give you a free gas block.  She's going to be front heavy

I ordered it in late August, 2011.  Originally they said 12-16 weeks–– took a bit more than that (I called in every 2-3 weeks after the 16wk mark and they were really helpful and courtious and let me know at what stage it was).  They didn't charge me until the day it shipped.  I can't wait to get some time back home now, put her together and see how it shoots.  I'll likely do a write up on it in the precision rifle section when I get around to it.  If this barrel shoots half as well as some of the Kriegers I've seen (bolt guns and ARs) I'll be happy.  Where I shoot in Nevada, this ought to keep me super-sonic to at least 3/4 a mile.

Yeah, being next to the JP brake is brutal.

I had that brake on a 16' barrel one time. it was freaking LOUD!!!

Took it on one prairie dog trip, sold it on EE the next week.

I don't plan on shooting this one without ear pro.  Mostly for popping steel at 600-1500yd.  I'm making a thread protector for it however.

Thinking about it now spotting impacts won't be an issue even without the brake at longer ranges.   I may even go with a suppressor at some point.  It's 5/8"-24tpi so most .30 cal stuff will work.
