I'm thinking about seeling my Aimpoint Ml2 and buying the Vortex strikefire and the 3x magnifier. Any opinions on this setup or should i stay with my aimpoint?

I would second this unless you have a pressing reason to run a red dot.

I have a aimpoint sc 9000 and vortex strike fire with 3x both about the same. I would keep the aimpoint . both good to get on target. If you are looking for tighter groups get rifle scope with variable power settings and adjuatable AO if shooting at differant range distance. A nice one to start is Mueller APV line.
