I got done with work super early today, and having wanted to take updated photos of family/collection for quite awhile, the timing seemed perfect.  Feel free to post pics of your own 'family.'

The ' US World War' collection.  L-R:  OOW M918A3 BAR, M1941 Johnson, 1.56mil SA M1, 1.34mil WRA M1, Inland M1A1 (repro stock), Standard Products M1, IBM M1, 4.79mil Smith-Corona M1903A3, and Eddystone M1917.

The Carbines by themselves.

The 'Ancients' by themselves.

The 'Oddities' by themselves.

The M1 Collection.  L-R:  1.56mil SA, 5.8mil SA, 1.34mil WRA, 4.7mil HRA, 5.6mil HRA, 4.44mil IHC (SA/IHC Postage Stamp), 4.53mil IHC, 4.58mil IHC, 4.64mil IHC Gap Letter, 5.20mil IHC Gap Letter, and Beretta Danish-Contract.

The Springfields up close.

The Winchester up close.

The HRAs.

The Beretta.

I found this at a gunshow in Louisville, KY and didn't know what it was at first!  I'd never seen a foreign M1 up to that point.

The IHCs.  IHCs are my personal favorites to collect.

The 4.44mil on the left is the very definition of 'luck of the draw,' as it came from the CMP back in early 2007 as part of the last IHCs they sold out of the stores.

The cat made a nest in all of the Borestores cases and settled in to watch the show.

All of the long guns staged.  In there is an LRB M14SA, Sig 556 'Commando,' Benelli SuperNova Tactical, and grandpa's old J. Stevens Arms .22 rifle.

The pistols.  L-R, T-B:  Glock 20, Kimber 1911, Sig P220, Glock 29, Walther PPK/S, Walther P99, S&W M41, and S&W M686.

The Glocks up close.

The Smiths up close.

The Walthers up close.

The .45s up close.  The Sig is a commemorative from my battalion's recent OIF deployment.

Everything together for probably the last time in quite awhile.  Getting everything out, taking pics, and then putting everything back in the safe took well over an hour!

Kitty lost interest quite awhile ago...

Thanks for looking this far.  Lets see some of yours!

Alright, I see what needs to happen here.  You ship me a Garand (any of 'em), and I'll pony up for a team membership for you.

Really, though, that's a beautiful collection.  Congrats!

Very good!  I like the scoped K31 and the old school slick side and tear drop AR15s.  You have good taste.
11/30/2010 10:02:55 AM EDT
[#18]
I much prefer the older lightweight AR's. The A1 clone is all Colt except for the lower receiver and LPK, one of the CDNN uppers. The slickside was a SP1 that I bought off the EE. It came with everything but the lower receiver and LPK. I added a old set of the Lone Star front handguards in place of the triangle to make myself a light "truck rifle".

That scoped K31 is a shooter with GP11 surplus. The 4 shots in one hole are the rifle's. The two flyers are mine.

Nice.  I love the MSAR.  I've been considering one, but don't know if I'll ever get around to it.  I'm coming to the realization that I may need to spend money on stuff other than guns!  How crazy does that sound...

Stay... FAR FAR away from MSAR.

Get an FS2000 or Aug A3.

They'll work right out of the box.

My ex.

Don't listen to the haters.... I love my MSAR. has worked out of the box without any issues. I love it. It's a E4.... so it's AR-15 mag compatible.

Don't listen to one of the very few MSAR apologists here.

Yay for you, you played the MSAR lottery and won. Lot of other people didn't.

You never see a real A3 with the kind of problems MSAR rifles either develop or have straight from the box.

Surprised no one commented on how nice your Johnson is.

I didn't know you wanted others to post pics? Didn't want to hijack your thread. But since you asked for them.
