Can anyone tell how to get in contact with MATECH?
The mounting ear on the left side broke in two pieces. Thanks in advance! |

Common problem with the Matech when it is installed too tight.
Go here for a better replacement than the factory part. http://shop.battlearmsdevelopment.com/BRACKET-SCREW-for-MATECH-BUIS-AR15-M4-M16-FREE-SHIPPING-BAD-BSM.htm |

I like the Matech but it isn't without issues. The Battlearms direct replacement solves the major one and I recommend it biut have to agree that an already expensive sight should not force the consumer to spend even more money to make it right.. I thought that was one of the reasons people liked them, they were cheap. Oh and mil issue, but mostly because they were cheap? |

Quoted: Yep,mine are commercial versions. The $40 brand new versions are likely stolen military. http://www.fototime.com/B8D8981E951EDC5/standard.jpg The Government pays near the same for their versions and $40 tells me somebody is selling something they don't really know the value of. Or a clone. |

You can drill them, I did that to one of mine, but remember, if you do that the sight will no longer regulate to the elevation settings on the sight body.
Best to set the sight to a predetermined range, i.e. 25 meter zero, 50 meter zero, 100 meter zero, etc., and then epoxy the elevation arm in place. |
