The first one sold on gunbroker today for $2600.  What bothers me is that there aren't more of them.  In fact that's the only one I have seen so far.  I refuse to believe that only one dealer got one ACR this week.  Other dealers have got to be getting them in stock this week and next week.  What gives?  Since the Basic Ones are dipping into the 1800s and 1900s, I can't justify paying more than $2300 or so for an Enhanced one.  Has anyone else seen any other Enhanced ACRs in stock?  I am curious as to what the market price will shake down to in a few weeks.  I'm going to guess $2350 or so.

Many of these dealers are filling back orders more than likely.  You will see them trickle in before to long.  However, I know that Bushmaster will not get me to buy one after the screwing I got on the basic.  Losing money is not in my like department.  They can get bent.

Perhaps the dealers that received enhanced ones already had them sold.  I think most want the folder over the fixed stock.  Once the folding stock is sold seperate, I would guess that the basics will move better.

I'd guess this. Either that or they want something to sell in their shop. Its nice to have new toys on the walls.

Yeah, I don't understand why manufacturers hardly ever give what people want.  There must be a reason though.  I certainly hope the ACR will come out in larger quantities for the Enhanced model....

Because what passes for "business" people nowadays are people who just do what a bunch of marketing people tell them to do to maximize profits, instead of people who really know and have a passion for the products.

That, and those marketing people play to the clueless gunshop crowd instead of the enthusiast market anyway, as the enthusiast market is just too hard for them to deal with.

Jerry's sports had them listed on their online dealer catalog one or two days ago and when I went to purchase one it was out of stock. Davidson's also has them but they are allocated so getting them is tough. Theyre out there.

They are likely working their way through the distributor pipeline as we speak.

Don't forget the 20 page threads with people pre-ordering these guns, if a customer had a pre-order from a shop he is going to get it first, and you are going to have to wait until that demand is filled for Enhanced ACR's to be showing up 'in the wild'

That makes sense.  Since no one wanted the Basic Model, those popped up instantly and very quickly.  That means we'll see a few Enhanced ones here and there and probably at outrageous prices for some time like the FN SCAR 16S.......well probably not that outrageous like Feb. of 2009.

i bought some from Jerrys but sold them before they even arrived  to customers who had been looking for them.

What, like the first SCAR that went for $16k?

The first ACR that was listed on gunbroker from the guy who won it at the AAC shoot didn't sell his, the reserve wasn't met, but the price got up to $12k or something stupid. What an idiot. He didn't pay anything for it. Why would you not sell it? In three months he could buy another one for $2k.

Maybe he was hoping the ACR will reach AR15 status in 20 years and be a collectible. I would of sold the damn thing.

BTW there is also three on GB now. One is a dutch auction with two for sale.

Who wants to hold on to a rifle for 20 years and *hope* that it becomes a collectable? I would have listed it with no reserve and laughed all the way to the bank. It was either $12k or $15k. Either way. Bet he is kicking himself now.

Looks pretty good. Id love one eventually. Im takin the wait and see approach. The only thing that bothers me is bushmaster. They dont seem to be as in tune to its customers as they should be. Aftermarket products will make or break the ACR. We'll see. Is that yours Bryan?

And I am also waiting for the SCAR-H.  At roughtly 8.5 lbs, that's a relatively light 7.62x51 NATO weapon.

Hell, or their dealers for that matter.  Guess when they get big, then bought out, they are no better than a huge credit card company.  Next time I call, I will get a guy from India named Bob
