XCR owners, does the gas tub "under the top rail" rattle or other wise move on your XCR? Everything seems snug down on mine but there is front and back play, only a few millimeters in the gas tub on my XCR and I was wondering if it was normal?

Yes mine did rattle also. I have a 3 minute fix for it though. Take your barrel off, pull the gas tube, on the the gas port side with the holes lined vertically squeeze the end of the tube slightly with pliars, hands or vice on the top and bottom of tube to cause a very slight oval shape. Since the gas tube is not meant to have a tight seal a slight oval shaped end is ok. Now put everything back together and you will see that the gas tube is rock solid - "no more rattle".
ETA: When you reinstall the tube make sure the holes are facing down. This way more gas bleeds out of the tube. If the tube is replaced with holes up "against the solid top rail of the upper" less gas will bleed off increasing the recoil impulse on "all" gas dial settings which will wear out your buffer pad faster.
