I am planning on using my mini 14 next Sunday at an Appleseed shoot. It is the non-ranch rifle version with the factory stock rear sight.Does anyone know how many MOA each click on the rear sight is?I haven't shot the thing in a long time and forgot what the click values were.

The Standard Mini-14 rear sights are adjusted in 1.5 MOA increments, both windage and elevation.

You probably don't have the time to do this, but you will notice there is room between each of the factory-cut slots in the windage and elevation wheels for another set of slots to be cut by the owner.  Each slot will have to be cut by a cutting wheel on a dremel, hand-filed for depth and width, and then checked for function when assembled.  It sounds worse than it is.  The result is a modified Mini rear sight adjjustable in .75 MOA increments.

Good luck at your Appleseed.

1.5 MOA,no wonder most people want a scope on the thing!I should get by next Sunday.I already got my rifleman patch 2 weeks ago with my scoped .22lr,I want to get another one using irons and the mini is easier to clean than the AR.
