What are the benefits of titanium silencers other than the reduction in weight? Are there any drawbacks? On the whole, are they worth the extra cost?

I can't imagine there being much more benefit over an aluminum can, IMO.

Ti cans are much more durable than Al. Less maintenance.

I like mine and would spend the extra coin in getting my next Ti can.

Lighter than SS and more durable than AL. They hold up reasonably well but if I recall correctly, not so well on FA but they can take it somewhat.  I would put on on my hunting rifle if I was allowed to use a suppressor for hunting in GA.

The biggest advantage is the weight reduction, particularly in centerfire cans where aluminum can not be used.  Take a look at the suppressor forum here in the armory section for more info.

We made some at Barrett for the 6.8 Pretty durable and light as hell. They tried the baffles in Ti also. That didn't go over so well in full auto.
