I have a can of (korean head stamp k a 73 corrosive?) 30-06 garand ammo in bandos in clips there are 384 rounds in bandos and 2 loose clips of 8 each.

So what would 400 rounds of garand ammo be worth? I may look to sell but dont want to give the stuff away.

I have no digicam as it is broke but this stuff looks new.   also lead core bullet  as i pulled 1and cut it open, and I also shot 1 in my deer rifle. there were origanly 402 rounds 2 loose 4 some reason.
I found this on a google search from June on ar15.com       JCS

Thank you very much.   JCS

I would go see what the cmp is selling it at, and put it at a small discount to that.

I would expect $.35-.45 a round range.

I'd say about .40/round for US or greek stuff, half that for the KA stuff. Add about .50 per en-block clip.
(and yeah, the KA is likely to be corrosive, the KA-69 was for certain.) The KA-73 has a reputation for misfires as well.

CMP is pretty much wiped out for a few months I think... and their prices were heavily "subsidized" in the sense that the CMP got it free from the Army, so they could sell cheaper than everyone else.  Why would you sell for less than they do?  In addition, unless you could walk into South or North Shore to pick it up, an order would take months to ship.

CMP prices minus 1/3 for corrosive ammo. IIRC all KA headstamped M2 is corrosive.

do your self a favor an try to buy the same stuff you are thinking of selling, then you'll get an idea of it's worth.

i have shot KA ammo alot , yes it is corrisive, so what ,just clean it.  also ka is reloadable an is not junk like some will say.

No caps button on your keyboard?

I have 200-300 rds of KA left myself but I only shoot it in my '03A3.  It is not a good idea to tear down the gas system on a Garand enough to properly clean after corrosive ammo use every time you go out. You end up with a loose gas cylinder, and even if you do not remove the gas cylinder it takes quite a few shots to get the Garand seated back in the stock after removing it. Much easier on you and your rifle to keep the corrosive ammo for the bolt actions.

As you said though, it is good reliable ammo that yields very good cases for reloading.

Agree entirely.  The KA brass is great reloadable brass, and noone I know really wants to tear down an M1 gas system after shooting corrosive ammo.  But, because it's corrosive nobody is going to pay Lack City or even Greek surplus prices for it either.  And like I said earlier, the 73 has a rep for duds, all other years are ok.
