I don't have a BDC Nikon scope, but I have the 2-7x32 on my M4-gery and love it. Ordering a Nikon 6-18x40 for my rifle build.

| I have had a few Nikon's. I did not care for the BDC it seemed to cover to much of the target up for my tastes even at 100 yards. I have never had a problem with holding zero. The one thing that I did not like about the Monarch was. I had to go up to Medium rings on my bolt action not to clear the objective but to clear the eye box. They are pretty fat in the Monarch line. |

Both my Nikons are older Jap made units ..........very clear and very solid. I have no experience with their newer glass . The few Ive looked at lately (new) were China made ..........are any still made in Japan? You sure about that? I handle them on a near daily basis and I've never seen a Chinese made Nikon riflescope. Binos, yes, but even Leupold's cheaper binos are Chinese. The nikon scopes are made in the Philippines as far as I know... And I think the glass is still Japanese. |
