No and I think there's a certain percentage of bad guys who will be scared away by any firearm pointed at their face, regardless of its looks.

No I live in the real world.  I also hold no hope that sound will scare someone away if they are bent on doing what they plan.  I do not care if they are scared by looks.

I think it'd have to be REALLY intimidating to have an affect.  Like a para m249 pointed at them from across the room distances.  If there was enough lighting for them to tell you had a belt fed LMG they might decide to run...  Failing that a 100 rd burst of 5.56 in their direction would probably motivate flight over fight response.

I like my guns to scare libs. Since all bans are based on looks, I like to do as much as is legal.

That said, i doubt it would scare a bad guy any more than a really big swiss army knife.

And, god forbid i ever shoot a bad guy with it, those 12 libs in the jury are not going to look favorably on me.

THAT is the only way I will buy a gun! It has to strike fear in the hearts of the enemy without even pulling the trigger! Oh yeah! Heck even when I go to do some target shooting with my Barret's I have had targets just fall over after just pointing my guns at it. That's how intimidating my guns are....course could have been just the wind...nah!
