| Does anyone know where I can find a side mount for a scope for a savage model 99 rifle? I have a model 99 that has been drilled and tapped on the side for some kind of mount, im assuming it was for a scope, but I can not find anyplace online that shows any such mount. |

What style of 99 do you have (rifle or carbine, top tang safety or lever safety, etc....) What is your hole spacing? You might need a Weaver T-7, 29S, or a 330. Of course you might need a non-Weaver mount (G&H, Pachmayr, Williams, Jaeger, etc....). |
| Its a rifle, model 99eg I believe. It does not have a tang safety, it has the safety on the lever/trigger guard. Looking up some of the mounts you suggested it may be, I believe that what I need is the pachmayr low swing scope mount. The picture I found of this type of mount matches where the screw holes in the side of the receiver are. now I just need to find a place to purchase one of these mounts. e-gunparts.com does not seem to have one for a savage model 99. any ideas on where I can get one of these? |
