I bought my first M1 Garand from the EE. Just picked it up Friday and I am happier than a hog in a mud hole.......

It is a Springfield Armory M1 Garand and is a 1944 produced receiver. Here are a few photos.

Looks like service grade greek return from CMP due to the black parkerizing..Nice Find..
