I just put a KT sub2000 on layaway today, I'm picking it up Friday. Does anyone have any experinces with these
I have wanted one for a while, mainly because it will share  mags with my Glock 17 (33 rounders)and I like the
fact that it folds up too, That I think is cool. But the question I have is how reliable are these??? Does anyone know??

Thanks, Smokingguns

I've got about 300 rounds through mine (9mm) is hard to fin lately and I don't want to shoot too much.  I've had one stovepipe.

I really like it (for the same reasons you have gotten it)

I purchased one for my son last fall for $329 and he loves it.  I've got to shoot it

a few times and want one too.  Can't find one anywhere now except for the serial

rapists on Gunbroker.  What did you have to pay and did they have another????

I found mine at a local pawn shop here in N.C. They are hard to find, I been to every gun
show in the last year, and until today I have never held one. I didn't get as good of a deal
as you, I gave $399 for mine tax and all out the door. Well on layaway anyway, till Friday.
Even though it came from a pawn shop it's new in the box, He said they are hard to get,
and that he had recieved five of them on Monday and I got the last one. So I consider myself
lucky just to have found one, I do not regret the price I paid..........I have wanted one of these
for a while and now my mission is finally complete, I guess it's time to find another gun that I
can't live without

Thanks, smokingguns

$275 + Tax a couple months ago, supposedly "used" but it could have passed as new.

I have not seen another hard chrome one yet.

Couple hiccups the first time out, have not shot it since.  Seemed to want to bumpfire.

I had one. No malfunctions of any kind, and it was accurate enough to nail 2-liter water bottles at 100yds. I traded it off for something or other, hell I forget what.

Seemed to want to bumpfire
I'll second this. While I never tried bumpfiring, when you are rapidly pulling the trigger, the gun almost seems to accelerate on its' own. You can empty a 33-rd magazine in a real hurry without bumpfiring.

Wow, that was a good deal. I have never seen a hard chrome one, but then again until yesterday
I had never seen one in person. They are truely unique guns, I wouldn't mind having the .223 rifle
they make, I think it's called a SU-16 , The one I like is the one that you can shoot while the stock
is folded, and the forearm makes a bipod.................they are cool, but they will never replace my
good ole' Rock River AR.

I shot the .40 cal version the other day and it ran great. However, you really have to jam your face down there to use the sights. Also, the recoil was surprisingly harsh, like shooting a16ga shotgun. Looks like a great backpacking rifle to me. m4whore

Great gun for the money. Fold it up in a backpack and no one will know it's there, fits in the trunk like all the other tools too.

Accuracy out to 50yds is excellent, you can empty 15 rounds into a 2" circle in just a few seconds. It's no battle rifle, but it has great utility.

I have heard others complain about the sites, but they are decent.

Good luck with yours. I love mine and would not trade it.
