I have a chance to buy a UZI Pistol- What can you tell me about them? Value, Mag availability?  etc..

Lots of mags and they're cheap, and there's too many types of "Uzi pistols" for us to determine the value without you telling us what kind you have in mind.

yup...standard Uzi mags. 32rd mags seem to be at an all time low...I think somebody imported a million or something. $10-$12 each.

No matter what model Uzi Pistol, if it is IMI, it as least worth $900 or possibly more.

I had an early model back in the 90's.....it isn't practical for anything, just cool

They are worth about $1K, lots of cheap mags, they are cool but not practical at all.

I always wanted one just for the coolness.

I saw an IMI last week...$1,400 !!!  hock.gif

Now I live in a state where we pay a premium for most firearms (Massachusetts) but still...that'a lot of cash for a fun yet extremely impractical pistol.  I was looking for an IMI carbine Uzi, but that may have to wait too.  The price of gas came down but guns and ammo stay right up there...the best hedge against inflation.

Vector has been making those full size pistols, but they are HEAVY.

I have a mini pistol. FUN AS HELL to shoot.

Not a very practical shooter because they are so big, but I'd pick one up if I had the extra funds just because they are bad ass.  If Chuck uses them, everyone should use one too!  By the way, Vector's were full size uzis without a stock.  Only IMI/action arms imported the original Uzi pistol.  Vector doesn't make any Uzi's anymore either
