Wow.

I wonder what importer is letting Kyber Pass guns into the market?

They mangled an M1919A6 carry handle and a pair of M16A1 handguards on that? Please pull the trigger, so I can laugh at you while you pull the barrel out of your forehead.

In all seriousness, I wouldn't mock the Kyber Pass-region stuff by comparing it to that...thing.

Wow seems about right for describing it.

For a hundred bucks though (plus $50 shipping, $3 for one cartridge, and probably another $50 or so for some form of trigger group), it really would be worth buying it, setting it up in a safe location, and videotaping a string-fired test shot.  $200 for a great Youtube kB! video seems like a bargain to me.

Reading the Q&A section I came across this:

"A:  transfer through a local shop here since a woke from a COMA (hospital 3 weeks - i don't remember)..."

I wonder how he suffered a coma?

Thin wall pipe with a barrel welded to it?

When I looked at these pictures, I just coudln't believe someone would even dream of building a .50 BMG rifle out of pipes in their gargage. Then, I couldn't believe anyone was "brave" enough to buy it from this guy, where the legality is clearly in question and then consider shooting it....

Not to be a dick, but when I read that the builder was recently in a coma, this debacle was explained to my satisfaction. I have to wonder, was the coma a by-product of test firing?

Still, I would pay money to see that thing get touched off (from a distance).

There are two bids.

Also the seller is in the PRK... didn't the Governator outlaw the ownership of .50 Cals?

I like this one too...

A:  THAT'S WHAT I THOUGHT ! ! ! ! HELL - i'd even go as far as to say '' NICE DECORATION , around the house ! '' honestly , i thought you'd enjoy knowing I'M OUT HERE !

LOL.  He's probably afraid to fire it.  Some darwin candidate will buy it and get himself killed.  The barrel looks like it was put into the receiver with screws and then welded for good measure....

Guys, I have to say that I'm actually almost tempted to bid on it.

Something like that would really truly be worth the money, just to drive up to an FCSA shoot with one, and see the looks on the faces of the people there.  $200 is a damn good bargain for an opportunity like that.

Sure it's a dupe, but this is the technical forum where we can discuss the technical aspects of explosive disassembly.

I'm picturing the "builder", 50+ looks 60+, major dunlap gut, wife-beater with brown stains, 2 week + beard, mostly grey, thinning hair last cut when he passed out next to the window fan, chronic smell a mix of body odor and cheap beer.  And a nice California tan.

Somebody ask him if the bore is shiney with sharp rifling.
