yes....  Steyr makes it's own stock, the Tpd AXR does not, the AXR uses existing Steyr NATO stocks already here in the U.S. When the U.S. supply of NATO stocks dry up, so does the AXR. Correct me if I'm wrong. Unless Kent has plans of producing his own stock???

Kent is making his own stock, and he's buying new NATO stocks direct from the OEM.

The "US supply" of NATO stocks was GSI inventory that was liquidated to CDNN and other places. I'm guessing that TPD bought some of these and that is what they are using now.

There is nothing stopping TPD from importing more stocks when they run out of these, and I'm sure Steyr would be glad to get the business, they haven't had any major contracts for anything lately.

Do you think Steyr is going to want to sell stocks to TPD for the AXR when they supposedly have a deal in the works to bring the AUG back to the U.S.???? Just wondering your thoughts?

What about forward assist and LRBHO? Do either of these rifles have it?

AXR has the original steyr forward assist, and LRBHO.

yeah. after spending years getting their facility up and running, investing ungodly sums of money, and working basically around the clock 7 days a week, they are just going to produce a few rifles and then close up shop because they ran out of stocks.

Vendors like CDNN had the last of the NATO stocks by reports.  Steyr cannot block the sale of something it no longer possesses.

The cdnn stocks are gone from what I hear...all sold.

TPD has plans for its own stocks, but why would they start making them now when they've still got their perfect good Steyr stocks available?  That would make zero sense.

Guys,

TPD has a secure source for their own stocks.  Don't worry about it, trust me.

All I have to say is... the firearms community is very small.

So the A3 doesn't have LRBHO?

How does that forward assist work? Is it that button on the cocking lever?
