I can't wait until these are available to purchase. I would like a setup just like the one used in the video.

I don't know for sure about that. There was some back and forth with the different gens with that. Good question though.

Yes, the magazine can be changed with the stock folded.

Yes, the mag. release is ambidextrous.

Hope this helps,

Sounded like with most of his double taps he hit the steel with both shots. Good stuff.

but the SCARS might not even be available for purchase by civilians because they were supposed  to be out by now and they are going over every single part of this weapon system   with a fine tooth comb ever since they 1st started developing it in 2005

You need to review pertinent facts before posting.

Does the SCAR have two shot burst?  Or is the shooter feathering the trigger on auto?  Or is that just REALLY quick semi doubles?

I had assumed they were semi, but now you got me wondering....

3 position selector on this verison...Safe, Single, Auto....

Don't know if maybe that was a variant of some kind.

I was good with getting two or three shots with with personal M16's, but it was not 100% 2 shot or 3 shot.  Most times it was two, but sometimes it was 3 or 4.

Just curious.

Wonder why they stuck with the A2 grip with all the better options out there.

Between this and the ACR and the Aug A3 I'm going to have a hell of a time deciding what to buy.

A2 is what the Govt/Operators wanted.  They started with the SAW grip.

I really like the scar. It really looks tacti cool as well. I wonder if it is going to as reliable as the Hk 416 (It does use gas piston sooo)?

The US Army conducted a test at the request of the Congress that is often called the "Dust Test."  The SCAR L outperformed the HK 416 with only 226 failures out of 10,000 rounds fired while the HK 416 had 233 failures.  The M4 had a total of 882 failures out of 10,000 rounds fired.

We are making advances folks with firearms.
