I just had to have one, so when my buddy was selling his never fired one, I snapped it up. He bought it new a couple of years back. The 16" Military Model. I don't much about it, but it looks cool! And, I've always loved the Tommy Gun in the movies and such. Anybody have more info on it? The good/bad/ugly? I will get a picture up tomorrow if anybody really cares! Thanks... |
| I dropped $1200 on one as a gift to my father for christmas then paid an additional $250 for a 50 rd. drum! The worst gun purchase I have ever made. The stick mags that are shipped with them are used but refinished that are sold by Kahr for $60.00 when ones that were not run over by a sherman tank can be had for $15.00 elsewhere! The mag we got was a twisted pile of scrap metal! The 1927a1 had a FTF on the second round with the stick mag that we knew was going to be defective by the look of it! The $250.00 drum did not do much better with the "wind to 9 or 11 clicks" setting. 20 clicks finally got a 20 round string of fire before the next FTF. After we finally became so frustrated with it we boxed it back up and sent it to the service dept. The feed ramp was dented really bad and I feel that replacement of the receiver would have been justified but instead Kahr replaced the bad stick mag with one that looks like it was found in the Atlantic a couple weeks ago! The $250 drum that I purchased new was replaced by one that looks like it has been dragged down a gravel road! The dented reciever still will not allow rounds to feed! I would love to stomp a mudhole in their ass and walk it dry! I am going to fight them for a refund for this pile of shit or make them replace it for one that actually functions! I know they sell wall hanger dummy guns but that is not what Ipaid for! |
