Has anyone ever bought a safe at a gun show? I know guns and ammo are outrageously priced at gun shows, but I don't know if safes are the same. I've always seen Liberty safes for sale at gun shows but have never priced them.

I have heard also that if you wait until the last day of the show that you could get a better price because the seller would like to not have to haul the safe back. That just may be an internet legend.

There is a gun show next weekend that I may get to go to and I'd like to get a better look at a lot of different safes.

Do yourself a favor and skip the LIBERTY. I did a massive ammout of research when I bought my safe. I went with a company called Sturdy Safe Company(www.sturdysafe.com). They make the best safe for the money. For a little bit more or maybe less then a Liberty, Browning ect you get a bigger better safe that has much better fire proofing material and MUCH thicker steel. I built a concrete vault and bought the vault door from sturdy:
