Maybe once the MSAR STG 556 and TPD AXR come out we should have one, but right now I don't know if there are enough members that own an AUG or USR.

I know there are like maybe ten of us that have an AUG that contribute here, but ten people wouldn't make for much of an AUG section.

how about a "bullpup" section?? it would be a respective section for AUGs, but also a place for people to show their custom made bullpups and the other old and upcoming bullpups on the market.

Not enough AUG related traffic here to necessitate a separate forum.

Is the decision by simple majority or do we need 60 votes?

+1. If there's going to be a new discussion section, it should go to the RobArms XCR and Sig 556.

Few AUG's in civilian hands and no clones means dead dedicated forum. Pretty simple.

+1 on the prospective bullpup section.

This site is too broken up now as it is. So many subsections now don't get any traffic at all; better to lump them all together so you don't miss anything.

We have sections for guns that don't even exsist yet. Let's do some AUGs!

Or you could start an AUG thread, have it tacked at the top, and then the ~20 AUG owners in the USA could all post in that one thread.

I'm all about the bullpup section too!  Certainly a lot of stuff trending that way.  Perhaps as a peace offering, another section for "Next Generation Rifles" that would cover the newer stuff like the SCAR, Sig, XCR, Masada and the others.  Best of both worlds solution.

The AUG in that second picture with the short barrel and C-MAG is pretty sweet.  I bet that makes some impressive noise and flame.

I would say I think a AUG and US made AUG section would also go along way to support MSAR and TPDUSA. Pete Athens,Tony Marfione and Ken of TPD deserve every bit of support we can give them. After all this whole forum is about our 2nd Amendment rights and appreciation of the arms we all invest in and own.

Are you really sure about that? I have never seen or used another rifle that had so much trouble than the AUG. I really hope that the new US made rifle are much better …

I have mixed emotions about it. Given the sites current format I think that there should be an AUG forum. That being said, I would be in favor of combining several topic forums into one larger 'other firearms' forum to get more traffic.

Before you rant & rage about how your not getting enough attention for you AUG on AR15.com go check the dead pistol forums

MAkorov, Luger, and to a lesser extent Taurus, & Walther  all of which have a million more units in the US than the AUG

I say keep it in the General Arms Froums that way those of us that are not AUG obsessed can stay updated on the clone market for AUGs

Who knows maybe someday I'll buy one of the ugly things I hear they're fun
