Who owns a Kahr Arms/Auto-Ordnance Tommy Gun? I have been thinking about buying a 1927A-1. Are they well built and reliable or just made for looks?

I've heard nothing but BAD things... unreliable, breakage prone, so so customer service. I'd look elsewhere.
