Have any of you had an experience with one of these?  My brother and i have been looking for a versatile, reliable, and accurate pistol caliber carbine and I'm thinking this is it.  It seems like it would be a good tool for home defense and for just plain fun.  The fact it's available in the bigger (.45/10mm) calibers is what has us interested.  If any of you can report on their accuracy and reliability it would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Adam

I've had a 45 cal one for a 1911 for about 5 years. It is very accurate and reliable. I never liked the stock on it but it sure works well.

I always thought a 10mm one would make a neat little hunting carbine.

I've had a Mech-Tech 10mm CCU for several years. It's a straight forward blow-back operation & reliable. I just switched mine over to the new factory collapsible stock configuration which makes the package short & pretty handy. It's the only real economical way of getting a 10mm carbine.

I had one briefly for a 9mm Glock, all it would do reliably was jam...
