My dad has a 1894 that he got from his dad and he is curious about the value. I do not have any pics but ill describe it as best as i can.

Serial number 278XX
Has the buckhorn sights and what seems to be about a 32 inch barrel
The barrel is full octagonal

Anyone? TIA

You don't give enough details...what caliber? What is the condition of the finish, the barrel, the wood and so on? In general though, average condition 94's in that serial number range go for around $700 to $900...
