I need to order a good flash hider and compensator for a semi auto .223 -- any recommendations??? I've seen Vortex and others from Yankee Hill. Are these good ones?

Vortex is a good flash supressor, but I don't think it is a compensator. With the .223 i wouldnt really think a compensator is needed unless the gun really jumps that much.

Thanks. I am also looking at the Yankee Hill Phantom flash supressor and compensator. You're right, .223 does not jump that much but if a flash suppressor can also add some benefit as a compensator, I might as well take advantage of it.
