| Does anyone know whether there are any Sig 510/AMT parts kits available? I know DSA Arms had them a few years back but I was wondering whether anyone else might have one for sale? |

Thanks Advntrjnky - had totally missed that section of their catalogue! Was trying to restore my AMT to a 510-4 standard but the 510 parts kits seem to have long gone! Maybe I could create an STG57 in .308 by combining the AMT and bits from the STG57 parts kit? I should explain that my AMT was used as a helicopter deer culling rifle and has been modified - a few bits have been removed and replacing them is proving to be more difficult than I imagined! Does anyone know whether the furniture on the STG is compatible with the AMT receiver? |

it was my understanding that they are the same rifle with very minor modifications for caliber change. you might want to check out this site. www.swissrifles.com/ they are a very knowledgeable bunch of guys. good luck on you repairs, advntrjnky |

Thanks for the eyes-up! Took the old girl out for a shoot this weekend with a red dot and had a great time! Tempted to leave her as my open class rifle and mount my meostar scope on the weaver rail. Perfect for 3 gun and MSSA/service rifle shoots. Absolutely no recoil! Then again, I could combine the AMT receiver and barrel with the Stg 57 furniture and sights to create an Stg 57 lookallike in .308. Decisions...decisions! |
