Here is a link to the NRA's voter guide that grades candidates and lets you know where they stand on the Second Amendment. www.nrapvf.org/ So if you haven't voted get your butt in gear! We've been talking all year about a host of new assault rifles that have either already come out or are coming out soon and it would be a real shame to lose our right to own them. A new AWB or increased import restrictions would really be a death blow to the civilian firearms market. |
I just figured if I voted Republican across the board I'd be pretty safe.  Yep, and looking at the NRA info, it was a good bet.  I was looking for an amendment on the ballot that would categorize all Democrats as enemies of people and the second amendment, and with a majority vote would be all hung and their dead bodies used for range targets,...........but I couldn't find it.

We have new voting machines in my precinct. Whoever designed these things should be shot! I have never seen a more complex piece of sh*t in my life! I finally just turned around and asked in a loud voice "How do you operate this damn thing?" One of the election judges came over and pointed out how to get started and then walked away. I did what she said and got to the next step and I was stuck again. In frustration I loudly said: "I still don't know what to do! Why do I feel like a Florida Democrat?" The judge hurried back over and I said (everyone could still hear me) "Look, show me how to vote a straight GOP ticket! I don't even want to see these other jerks!" They gave me a little "I voted" sticker that I promptly slapped on my motorcycle helmet and I'm sure that straight pipe Harley got everyones attention as I left the parking lot...... http://i133.photobucket.com/albums/q52/harley1647/aniGif.gif |
