You can keep them loaded without ill effect.  The loading and un-loading of the mags eventually weakens the springs.  I mean a lot of loading and un-loading.  My friend's dad has a FN rifle, I forgot what model, he has several mags with M193 rounds.  He shot one of the mag that's been kept loaded over 22 yrs and still funtioned.  He fired roughly 200 rounds with that mag.

As mentioned, you shouldnt see any degredation by loading the mag and leaving it loaded, the cycling affects spring life not the holding of a load.  Most folks keep some mags loaded for quick access, "all" is a lot of mags and ammo for most of us and I for one dont keep them all loaded.

Leaving magazines loaded will not degrade the performance of the springs.

Springs do not weaken by being left in one state, whether it's relaxed or compressed.  They wear out from use, actual compression and decompression.
