Has anyone had any experience w/ the masterpeice mfg MAC 10 type pistol? I am mostly wondering if they are reliable. I have always kind of wanted an uber compact high firepower weapoon in 45. What would it do that a good auto wouldn't? It would shoot 18-23 more rounds w/o having to reload and it would do it w/ little muzzle jump/rise. |

I've got the MPA 10 (.45). The side cocker handle doesn't move while firing so you can wrap your hand around the gun while bumping. I would think it would be safer to use the fake can, though. I consider this gun to be a toy. It is pretty accurate if you hold it up and aim it like a pistol but it's kinda heavy to be doing that. If you want a bumpfire toy then the MPA 10 will do the trick. |

I just got back from the gun store after having handling one. I knew the thing weighed 5 1/2lbs, but I didn't now just how heavy that would be for a hand gun. That thing is maddd heavy, much more so than I imagined. I was wanting something that I could stick in my back pack or brief or on the floorboard that had alot of firepower, but this thing seems a little cumbersomme. It would be very hard to jump out the car w/ that thing and then shoot a bunch of targets b/c it would be so hard to swing it. I guess I'll just get another 45 so I'll have two Speaking of bumpfiring and a fun range toy, I highly recommend an AR pistol w/ a 7" or less barrel. The concussion is awesomme |
