Does anyone know whether the flash suppressor on the PS 90 is threaded on?

Are the threads1/2x28?

Looks like the barrel itself is a tad over 16", so I should be OK mounting a Bi-Lock adaptor for a Gemtech can from barrel length standpoint, anyone know if this would be OK from an overall length standpoint?

Any instructions on removing the barrel?  I could probably just clamp the barrel in a barrel vise and leave the rest of the assembly attached, but if it's a quick deal to remove the barrel, I'd do that.

Who has the civilian ammo the cheapest?

Thanks!

all the "barrel" you see stick out the front of the receiver is a SLEEVE that the flash hider is a part of.....This SLEEVE holds the barrel in the receiver.....not an arrangement conductive to doing squat with.   Far easier to get rid of that and go the SBR route(CMMG 10.3 inch barrel)...where they have proper P90 submachinegun (gemtech) 5.7 suppressors and a special FH with twin lugs that it goes on. one thing we are finding is that more than likely you are going to ruin the 16 inch barrel getting the sleeve off...there is a blind pin about a half inch behind the FH that has to be drilled out competely. the theads on the barrel end are L/H and easy to strip..the one in the pic is stripped out
and no not 1/2x28 as the barrel isnt even that big around

Thanks very much for the informative reply and pics.  Looks like I better just leave it alone or go the SBR route and have the pros handle that.  Thanks again.

Great news! I just saw this on the Five Seven forums.

It would seem that CMMG's making 1/2 x 28 thread adapters for SBR'ed PS90s.
