Trying to decide between a Glock 23 and 21 for concealed carry. Which would you choose AND WHY? Only one can be purchased!! I know how you bastards think...ONLY ONE!!

Yeah, the 21 is a *bit* chunky...like me.

I carry the G19 which, IMO, is the best CCW weapon available. The G23 is the same size so it should be fine. The G20/G21 is too large for me to conceal easily.

I voted "23", since I carry a G27 fed by a G23 13 round mag with an A&G grip extender, so the purchase is seamless.

If I can carry a HK USP year round, even when living in Northern Virginia, I can carry a Glock 21.

I am issued, and carry, a SIG Sauer P226 .40 S&W for work, and despite its being a truly fine weapon, I am a bit embarrassed to admit that if given my druthers, I would take my Glock 22 over it any day of the week.  I truly feel that the G22 is the finest, most effective, and overall most robust/rugged combat pistol in the world.  Of course, that's just my opinion, so take it for what it's worth .

I know very little about glock model #s but if I were going to get a g-lock I would get one in 9mm.  Unless I wanted to get an aftermarket bbl or take a chance on a k-boom.

I checked the model #s and I vote none of the above.  I would say a Glock 26.

.45 isn't short and weak.
Those who have concealment issues need to evaluate their holster. With the proper rig nearly anyone bigger than a 13yr old girl can conceal one under a t-shirt.

I would take the smaller glock (23), I carry a 17 every day, day in and day out it seems kind of big some days, and all I can say for glock kb is it does it every time I pull the trigger, same for my 20, don't know how many thousands of rounds have been through both of them.

23... smaller frame=better grip in most hands and the weather in SC would mean it would be more difficult to conceal IMO.

I'll keep my old series 70 colt 1911's ,  Combat Commander for CC and my MKIV for the bedside.

I actually carry my G36 rather than my G22 for CCW.  Cannot beat 7 rounds of Federal HST +P .45
