for some reason the only rifle i can think of is the fg42.  but why would you restock on if you could find it?  i don't think they were manufactured anywhere after the war.

thanks for trying to make me feel better.  and i wonder how much one of those would run.  and if it would only be offered in 8mm mauser or maybe .308 also.
