What is the hive mind on this system?  Anyone use it?  Cost?  At 650fps it is going to leave a mark!!!

I've used it for military training.  I missed out on the shoot house though.   I hear that it hurts pretty good

It will leave a mark!

While ambushing students armed with Simunition pistols, I took three hits through thin clothing (areas not covered by protective gear).  It left marks the size of silver dollars, and abraded the skin fully over that circular area.

FUN STUFF!

I left far more marks than I received!

I am pretty sure it is LEO and .gov only.

650fps is the legal cut off for a firearm.

They are for mil and LEO training and you have to go through a training program to get certified as an instructor to buy the ammo.  I looked into it a while back as I wanted to do some simunition training as I was going to work at a department that would allow me to carry a carbine.  Ended up finishing my school instead and decided to go federal.  I have heard the 9mm AR uppers are more reliable than the 5.56 which was originally intended for military use in SAWs.

It hurts a little more than paintball. And yes I have done both. (But it was a pistol round not 5.56)
