Anyone shot one of these yet? I'd like to get some opinions before I drop nearly a grand on it. How is the recoil, accuracy potential, overall performance, etc?

I have one, and I absolutely love it.  Best big-bore revolver I own, and that includes my Freedom Arms revolvers.

Shooting .454 out of it is just like shooting light .38 special loads out of a .357 - nothing compared to firing .460 rounds.

The .460 loads are really not bad to shoot either.  A lot of muzzle blast, but not a whole lot of recoil, at least not as much as you would expect.  My Taurus .454 with a ported barrel kicks a lot harder than the 460 does.

I have noticed that it is extremely accurate as well.  The first time I shot it, I was hitting soda cans at 75 yards with open sights, with no trouble, right out of the box.  I also took my mountain lion this year with it, about a 120-something yard shot, and I hit him right in the front shoulder - devastating.

They are exellent handguns, I would go for it if you are in the market for something like this.  Its definately nice that they are also backwards-compatible with .454 casull and .45 long colt.

Here is a pic of mine -

The 4 rounds from left to right are -

460 S&W 200g Hornady SST (2250 FPS, 2149 ft-lbs energy)

460 S&W 200g Cor-Bon XPB Spitzer (2300 FPS, 2350 ft-lbs energy)

.454 Casull 240g Hornady XTP-MAG (1900 FPS, 1923 ft-lbs energy)

.223 thrown in there for size

Also, if you are looking for a holster for it, I have found that a contender holster works the best for that big monster, but I am not sure how the performance center 460 works with large holsters, if thats the one you are looking at getting.
