I couldnt find any discussion on this but someone said that since the ATF wasnt allowing any new foreign kit guns in the F2000 and P90 couldnt be sold in the US. I was under the impression they were going to be made in the US. Anyone know the skinny on this?

I was under the impression that they were shipping the tooling over and going to be made in the same plant that produces the M-16a2, although I could be wrong.

When I saw the civvie FN2000 and P90 at a local shop, the FN rep that was there said these rifles would be domestic production.

Bingo on the dates. The FN rep said just it just like that. The P90 will be that cost. The FN2000 will be $1695 retail. The rep said the MSRP on the 2000 would be $300 more than the 90.

The SCAR will be produced for the commercial market.  Late '06, early '07.  The FS-2000 will be a US built carbine and ETA is still Dec. '05
