[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Kel-Tec 2000 Trigger Fix

In my search for a 9mm carbine I've looked at many and liked very few. While an AR 9mm upper is an option, I like the concept of the Kel-Tec 2000. I have several Glock mags and with the folding function, it could make a good trunk/pack gun. The thing I don't like is the horrible trigger. I haven't fired one yet but the pull on the few I've seen on the racks in gun shops and read on line are fat too heavy. How hard is it to lighten up the trigger and has anyone had reliability issues ?

I believe you can send it in to Kel-Tec and they can lighten oup the trigger for a small fee. try emailing or calling them to find out.

I assume they don't do it as a standard thing as most people buying a Sub 2000 want cheaper, not a better trigger.

I cant find them anywhere, at least for a decent price.

$299 in either 9mm or .40 at a local fun shop.

There are 5 of them listed on Gunbroker right now for around $250
